Katilyn earned her alphabet crown. She has been working on this all year. Every day she would come home from school and announce that she did not get it yet. So we worked and worked on it and we couldn't figure out why it wasn't happening. When I finally got to talk to her teacher about it she said it was because they had been really busy that they havn't been able to test her but that they would test her that day.
Sure enough when I went to pick her up from school she was sporting the beautiful pink alphabet crown on her head. She was so excited she couldn't wait for dad to come home so we could surprise him with the good news.
Daddy got home around bed time but was so excited that he made everyone change out of their pajamas so we could go and celeberate. Here are a few pictures of the celebrations.
When it was time to go Jasmine ensisted on putting on her own coat. (upside down) she wouldn't let us help her. It took a good 5 minutes to put that coat on.
So finally we just let her wear it out that way.
